Wanda Swanton Obituary
Born December 2, 1937, in Talihina, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Wendell and Virgina (Morgan) Yohe.
Wanda attended Upper Mill Creek Elementary school and Fremont County Vocational High School and then her parents moved to Casper where she graduated from Natrona County High School, Casper College and the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
Wanda met and married her husband, Donald J. Swanton in 1959 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
She taught for 2 years at Park School Elementary in Casper. She then had her children and was able to be a stay-at-home mom.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband and was the last survivor in her family.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Mary Swanton and son, Tom (Lori) Swanton.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2025, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church celebrated by Rev. Michael Swanton. Private burial services will be held at Highland Cemetery right after the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Wanda's memory.
