Frank Nagy

Frank "Kenny" Nagy, 91, of Renton, Plum Borough, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at the Cedars of Monroeville. He was born April 17, 1920, in Rossiter, a son of the late Gustav Nagy and Emily Farkas Nagy. He was a World War II Army veteran and retired coal miner for Renton Consol Mine and he has been a resident of the community since 1929. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. Kenny is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rose (Romanco) Nagy, of Renton; two daughters, Lois Langley, of Renton, Gaye (Henry) Mallisee, of Renton; three grandchildren, Jill (Jason) Pugh, Jessica (Chuck Swiderski) Mallisee and Emily Mallisee; three great-grandchildren, Makayla, Hannah and Noah Pugh; two sisters, Elizabeth Kulha, of Winchester, Va., and Marion Shyosky, of Monroeville; and two brothers, Louis, of Renton, and Zigmond, of New Kensington. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Emily Bone, Julia Horvath, Agnes Zarisky and Theresa Nagy; brother, Gust Nagy; also three infant brothers. Arrangements by the STEPHEN P. DOLENCE FUNERAL HOME INC., Plum Borough. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
