The family wishes to thank Amedisys Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Jo and her family; her nurses, Katie and Rita; her caregivers, Brenda, Diane, Freda, Kelly, Lisa, Tammy and Roxanne; Clarita Agabon and the staff at Sunshine Estates, though her time there was short, your care and compassion shined; to Amedisys pastors, David Hixson and Lee Maley, who comforted Jo with their prayers and visits; to Father Gerry, who prayed with the family and gave us comfort; and a special thanks to Father Bob Lubic. She so loved your visits, thanks for everything. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Rita Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville, with the Rev. Robert Lubic as celebrant. A committal service and interment will follow in St. Rita's Cemetery. St. Rita's Christian Mothers will conduct a service at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, and the Ladies Lodge of the Sons of Italy will conduct a service at 3 p.m. Wednesday, both in the funeral home.
