Kenneth Sanner Obituary

Kenneth Eugene Sanner, 59, of Spring Mills, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, at home. Born May 11, 1947, in Connellsville, he was the son of the late Homer Sanner Jr. and the former Gertrude Wiltrout. On Feb. 2, 1968, he married the former Barbara L. Dixon, who survives at home. Also surviving are two daughters and two sons, Dr. Kristin N. Sanner and husband William B. Walker, of Montrose, Shelley L. Sanner, of Alexandria, Va., Erik B. Sanner, of Spring Mills, and Brock G. Sanner, of Pittsfield; two grandsons, Isaac Sanner Walker and Jaiden L. Sanner; and a brother, Ronald D. Sanner, of Connellsville. He was a member of Millheim's St. John's United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Connellsville Joint Senior High School and earned an associates degree from Penn State University in mechanical design and engineering at the Fayette Campus in Uniontown. He was employed in applied research at Penn State University. He was also a member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at the STEVEN R. NEFF FUNERAL HOME, Millheim. Funeral services are 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joe Wingrove officiating. Burial will be in Fairview West Cemetery, Penn Township.
