Fred Branditz Obituary

Fred Hugo Branditz, 85, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at his residence. Fred was born Aug. 26, 1925, in McKeesport, to the late Frederick and Ida (Kleyboecker) Branditz. Fred was the former senior vice-president of Equi Bank, in Pittsburgh, and served our country in the Army during World War II. He was a member of First Christian Church, Masonic Lodge, and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross. He is survived by a son, Dr. Fred K. (Andrea) Branditz, M.D., of Zanesville; a daughter, Karen (Charles) Shively, of Ellicott City, Md.; four grandchildren, Fred C. Branditz, Lauren Branditz, Michael Shively and Karl Shively. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Ruth Branditz. A private family service will be held.
