M. Angela Staffiero Ondrej, 92, of Clarksburg, formerly of Dravosburg, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Scenery Hill Manor in Indiana. She was born Jan. 20, 1920, in Montaguto, Italy, the daughter of the late Dominick and Mary Schiavonne Staffiero. Angie grew up in Duquesne before moving to Dravosburg, where she made a happy home with her husband and family for more than 44 years. Angela spent her life loving her family. She left them with many precious memories. She taught them to stick together and always be "good to each other". Angela is survived by her children, Susan Bistarkey, of Wilmington, N.C., Stephen Ondrej and his wife, Cindy, of King George, Va., Joann Gyenes and her husband, Tom, of Clarksburg, and Margaret Ferguson, of Wilmington, N.C.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Stephen "Tippy" Ondrej; two sisters, Roxanne "Roxy" Staffiero and Theresa Staffiero; and two brothers, Tony and Nicholas Staffiero. Mass of The Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in the St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Avonmore. Father Salvatore Lamendola will be celebrant.
