Paul J. Suhy

Paul J. Suhy, 92, of White Oak, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2015. He was born July 1, 1923, in United, and was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Bendik Suhy. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and the White Oak American Legion Post 701. Paul was a mechanical engineer and was retired from US Steel National Tube Works. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II and was an Army Air Cadet and Navigator. He is survived by his wife, Judy Rosella Presock Suhy; daughters, Paula J. (Glenn) Hickman and Barbara A. Krepp, of Niles, Ohio, and Suzanne M. (Vincent) Mesiarik-Golik, of Elizabeth Township; son, James P. (Scott) Suhy, of Gibsonia; brother, John V. Suhy, of Monongahela; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, John Suhy; and sister, Mary Valecko. Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, at the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, in Corpus Christi Catholic Church, with the Rev. Michael Maranowski, officiating.
