Virginia M. (Smith) Feltz, 85, formerly of West Mifflin, died peacefully Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, in Mt. Pleasant. Born April 13, 1930, in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late George Lewis Smith and Katherine MacDonald Smith. A retired nurse's aide at John J. Kane Regional Center, McKeesport, Mrs. Feltz was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin. She was the beloved wife of the late John Paul Feltz. She is survived by a daughter, Caroline (Thomas) Goldinger, of Acme; three sons, Dr. Lawrence Feltz (Kathleen), of Aliquippa, John Paul Feltz (Margaret), of Georgia, and Michael Feltz (Lisa), of McKeesport; a sister, Celyne Haberman, of Connecticut; a brother, John Smith, of Washington State; six grandchildren, James, Amy, Wesley and Erin Feltz and Adam and Pauline Goldinger; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Isabel Podolak, Marian Harr and Charlotte Bradley; and two brothers, George and William Smith.
Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, in the WILLIAM S. SKOVRANKO MEMORIAL HOME, Richford and Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. A blessing will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, in the memorial home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin, with the Rev. Joseph Grosko as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue.
