William Jordan Obituary

William James Jordan, 70, of Scottdale, formerly of Floreffe, passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at his residence. Bill was born Jan. 6, 1945, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late Calvin R. He retired in 2000 from U.S. Steel after working for 35 years as heater man and was a member of the U.S. Steelworkers Union. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in his country in the Navy. Bill will be sadly missed by his loving family: his three children, William James Jordan, of Upper St. Clair, Phillip James Jordan, of New Orleans, La., and Erinn Jordan, of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren; his two sisters, Mary Lou Jordan, of Greensburg, and Kimberly Jordan Coffman, of the state of Washington; several nieces and nephews; and his longtime best friend and classmate, George Henderson, of Scottdale. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lynn Jordan.
