Leo J. Hohman, 86, beloved husband and father of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, in the Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born May 30, 1926, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Leo and Esther Cronin Hohman. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army. He was a member of the Church of The Immaculate Conception in Irwin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Michael L. Hohman; and a brother, John Hohman. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Rita McCarthy; three children, Darlene Zuk and her husband, George, of Penn Hills, Mary Ann Beardsley and her husband, Kerry, of North Huntingdon, and Donald Hohman, of North Huntingdon; six grandchildren, Steven Zuk, Erin Perozich, Matthew Zuk, Kristin Beardsley, Natalie Luffy and Kevin Beardsley; and eight great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 504 Oak St., Irwin. Parting prayers were held in the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in the Church of The Immaculate Conception.
