Barbara A. Poindexter, 84, of Braddock Hills, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021. She was the mother of Gregory Poindexter; also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct 8, 2021, at New Hope Baptist Church, 445 Sixth Ave., Braddock, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021. Interment will be in Monongahela Cemetery. Services of comfort were entrusted to WATTS MEMORIAL CHAPEL INC., 808 Talbot Ave., Braddock, PA 15104, 412-271-3880. Social distancing, nose and mouth protection is recommended for attending visitation and service.

To The Poindexter Family: It is with great sadness learning of the passing of Barbara whom me and my deceased parents were friends for many years. We all had great times on many occasions. Please accept my deepest sympathy and Barbara, you RIP with husband Charlie. GOD bless and keep you. You will be deeply missed by many.
