Charles L. Bennett, a.k.a. "Cool Charlie," of Braddock, passed away Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024. He served in the Army. He was the father of Charles "Manny" Bennett (Christina) and Sanabria Fitzgerald; uncle of Tina and Keyawnee Clark; also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of other family members and friends. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, at New Hope Baptist Church, 445 Sixth St., Braddock, PA 15104, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Services of comfort are entrusted to WATTS MEMORIAL CHAPEL INC., 808 Talbot Ave., Braddock, PA 15104, 412-271-3880. Nose and mouth protection is voluntary for attending visitation and service.
