Christine Mary Dupre, 59, died at her home Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, in Crestone, Colo. Christine was born February 2, 1962, in Somerset, to Lois and Phillip Dupre. She is survived by her mother, Lois Dupre Shuster and her husband, Karma Lhuendup. Christine's siblings are Helen Durfee (Eric), Adolph Dupre (Joyce), Lynda Dupre (George Croker), Lorraine Dupre and Ken Dupre (Peng). Christine had seven nieces, Kress Reed, Jackie Dupre, Maggie Moran, Cicely Verstein, Julie Zhu, Sierra Dupre, Mackenzie Dupre; and nine nephews, A.J. Dupre, Ian Dupre, Willis Croker, Phillip Croker, Travis Durfee, Nathan Durfee, Troy Dupre, Preston Dupre and Michael Dupre. She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Kress Dupre, and her brother, Phillip Kress Dupre Jr. Christine attended Verna Montessori School, Phillip Academy Andover, University of Pennsylvania and University of Oriental Medicine, Seattle with a degree in acupuncture. Christine was an active member of the Crestone, Colo. community as an acupuncturist and natural medicine practitioner. Her interests included many spiritual practices. In her marriage with Karma, she blended her Catholic religion with Buddhist practices. She cared for her clients and her beloved cats, Charlie and Pema. She loved to dance and sing. She was a truth teller and a hugger who enjoyed loving EVERYTHING. She loved intimate conversations, laughing out loud and a warm cup of tea. She enjoyed nature and skiing with family. She lived with her heart wide open as she traveled and met new people. Christine Mary Dupre is someone who was the example of kindness in action. Always thinking of others and how she could help and heal them. One of the things truly appreciated about Christine was her ability to make people feel comfortable to be open, spontaneous, loving; to feel free to be themselves, even if they did not know who or what that true self was yet. Christine's ability to be herself and not care what others thought, gave permission for you to do the same. It is indeed a rare and admirable quality that Christine had of providing unconditional acceptance and a welcoming space for discussing health, emotional, and energy-related issues. She was our family, our friend, our healer woman, our spiritual guide, our warrior woman, our advocate, and most importantly, she was our example of truly living. She loved us all and she will always be in our hearts. We love you Christine Mary Dupre, and we are grateful for the gift of YOU! A Memorial Mass will be held in Christine's honor at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021, at St. Raymond of the Mountains Church, 170 School House Lane, Donegal, PA 15628.

I just learned of Chris' death. I was a high school classmate. To see her photo and to learn of the beautiful life that she led since our shared time in school touched my heart. Reading how she spent her life and lived and loved, it all makes sense. She was that. She is that. I would have loved to have said goodbye, so I do now. Blessings to all beings.

Have known Chrissy my entire life and she was always a friendly, outgoing person who was always smiling and had a happy disposition when you saw her.

Always liked that Chrissy had health orientated perspective, she was well educated in that regard. Enjoyed the discussions we had in regards health perspectives and will cherish the memories of those conversations!

Like many, I was surprised, shocked and saddened when I heard she passed away - and not just for her but I know for those that knew her best, this was even more of a surprise and shock to her entire family and friends.

My thoughts and condolences to entire Dupre family and friends. Like you, I always cherish the good memories of Chrissy!
