Darrell F. Pendro, 65, of Penn Hills and Monroeville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was born Feb. 28, 1956, in Braddock, a son of the late George and Dolores (Bordenick) Pendro. Darrell was the former branch manager and assistant vice president of Parkvale Bank and was currently employed as a cashier at the Best Buy in Monroeville. He was a collector of all his favorite things, including baseball cards, model classic cars, comic books, trains and movies. He would also enjoy attending toy shows with family to collect popular antique toys. Darrell played electric guitar at a young age and continued to grow in his love for music over the years. He especially enjoyed classic rock and could always be found trying to share his favorite records with friends and family. One of his favorite pastimes was watching horse racing and going to the track. He is survived by his son, Sean Pendro, of Penn Hills; his siblings, Raymond Pendro, of Alameda, Calif., and Monica Brancato (Francis), of Rockwood, Pa.; his nieces, Trevi Pendro and Amanda Brancato; his nephews, Ethan and Luke Brancato; and his great-nephew, Phoenix Rife. Services and interment are private for the family. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. The HARTMAN-GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC. in Latrobe has been entrusted with the arrangements.
