As long as I can remember David has always called me cous'. He never used my given name, but if someone else called me by my given name, he would say "oh, cous', little bitty cous'. The last we talked he said we should get together besides at funerals, we (Robert) need to come home more often and when we do I'll call you, give me your number. But God never let it come pass. But Cous it will be a better seeing you again.

I remember my Uncle David came back to North Carolina many times since I was a little girl. He still checked on me and came to my home to check on me although I was grown. I can still hear his laugh. I had just thought about his inspiration before he died! I miss him but I know he is with us and our Family in Heaven. My Prayers for our Family, and Love. His neice, LaTonya Quick
