Geraldine M. Copeland

1935 - 2023

Geraldine "Jerri" Mae (Cook) Copeland, 87, of Plum, passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023. She was the beloved wife for 59 years of the late Charles Copeland; loving mother of Terry (Pierre) Leblanc, Sandra (John Green) Copeland and Kathleen (Gary) Gaydosik; grandmother of David (Amy Newsome) Leblanc, Leah (Jarett) Reinmann, Daniel Leblanc and Shawn (Jacqueline) Wolfe; also survived by nine great-grandchildren; sister of the late Hugh "Butch" (surviving wife Paula) Cook; sister-in-law of the late Elmer (surviving wife Charlotte) Copeland and Earl Copeland; and aunt of Leonard (Maureen) Copeland, Deanna Copeland, the late Hugh "Butchie" Cook and Kelly (Rob) Chapple. Jerri retired after 25 years as a secretary at A. E. O'Block Junior High School. She was a watercolorist, an avid golfer, bowler and loyal Steelers fan. She enjoyed traveling and was on the Fairway Friends Golf League at Rolling Fields Golf Club and on the bowling league at Nesbit's Lanes for 50 years. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Bethel United Methodist Church, 150 Alder St., Lower Burrell, PA 15068. Private interment will be in Plum Creek Cemetery.
