Lawrence J. Jankowski Sr.

Lawrence "Dod" Joseph Jankowski Sr., of Monroeville, peacefully passed on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, at 80. Dod was the devoted husband of the late Barbara (Moose) Jankowski for 45 years. He was the loving father of Janice (Paul) Sproull and Larry (Beth) Jankowski Jr. He was the proud grandfather of Ashley Jankowski (fiance Anthony), Madeline (Logan) Moller, Amelia Jankowski, Jose BBalza, and Joseph (Brittany) Sproull Sr.; great-grandfather of Joey Sproull Jr. Dod also survived by his brother, Gerald (Elisa) Jankowski, other relatives, and many friends. In addition to his wife, Barbara, he was preceded in passing by his parents, Lawrence and Helen (Kingerski) Jankowski; and brother, Joseph Jankowski. Dod was a longtime resident of Wilmerding. He was a respected U.S. Army Vveteran. Dod was proud of his Polish heritage and loved polka music. He was also a diecast car enthusiast. Dod was a friend to everyone and will long be remembered for his good sense of humor.
