Mercedes Bradley Obituary

Mercedes A. "Mar" Bradley, 95, of Millvale, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Anna and Ralph Ayala. Loving mother of Steven (Ann) Bradley, Martin Bradley, and Karen (Paul) Decker. Grandma of Samuel (Lori) Bradley, Sarah (Colin) Martin, Jessica (Michael) Higgins, Lauren Bradley, Bradley Decker, and Christy Williams. Great-grandma of Bennett, Lincoln, Aubrey, Noah, Cameron, Hayes, and Carter. Sister of Paul (the late Barbara) Ayala, Cecilia (Daniel) Winer, the late Jean Stewart, the late Raymond Ayala, the late Wilfred Ayala, and the late Daniel Ayala. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mercedes was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School. She attended the Senior Citizen's Center in Sharpsburg for several years and also worked at a home for unwed mothers and teenage pregnancies, serving as a house mother. She loved bingo, slot machines, and going to the casino. Mar will be remembered as one of the best people anyone had ever met in their lives. She never met a stranger, was wonderful with people, and was always happy to have people around. She was a kindhearted soul having an impact on all who crossed her path. Friends, family, and guests are invited to a chapel blessing service and burial at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at Allegheny County Memorial Park in Allison Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., Oakmont.
