Michele Kristofik Obituary

Michele Kristofik, 68, of Buffalo Township, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, after a courageous multi-year battle with cancer. Chele was a devoted Catholic who lived her faith throughout her life. She graduated from Highlands High School in 1974.Her professional journey included positions with P&M Optique in New Eagle, Hornes/Lazarus in downtown Pittsburgh, and Dr. Joseph Panza before joining Penn Data Services in 1999. She later purchased the business and worked tirelessly as its owner, continuing to serve her clients even during her illness. Chele bowled in a league for years and also coached youth bowlers at the old Plaza Lanes. She also enjoyed yardwork and gardening; however, her greatest happiness came from her role as a beloved aunt. She delighted in spoiling her nieces and nephews, and then their children, always showing up to cheer them on. She was especially passionate about attending Freeport soccer games. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her generous heart, and her dedication to both family and work. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Paul J. and Anna Kristofik; and is survived by her brother, Paul A. Kristofik; nephew, Paul R. (Trista) Kristofik; nieces, Jennifer (Brian) Dankis and Lyndsay (Lee) Kristofik; along with several grandnieces and nephews and a great-grandniece. A Catholic Mass will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament, Natrona Heights, TBD. No gifts or flowers, please. Arrangements are being handled by THOMAS M. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Blawnox.

I had only known Michele a short time, being a new member of Guardian Angel after St. Lads was closed. I liked her immediately when she welcomed me to the church. She was my church buddy from then and always. I always looked forward to seeing her every week. She was wonderful, kind and special and I miss her every week. I pray for her nightly and will continue to do so. I'm truly truly sorry for your loss.

Paul and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. From the playground at St. Clement´s to Horne´s downtown, and so many encounters in between and after, your sister always made me smile. With prayers, hugs, and a tear that her goodness lives on through the best memories
