Norman "Norm" A. Pace, 95, of Upper St. Clair, peacefully passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018, with his daughter, Marlin, by his side. Beloved husband of the late Bartine Pace for 64 years; loving father of Janis (Don) Baumann and Marlin Pace (Irwin); caring grandfather of Daniel Jeffrey, Irwin and Laura (Jerome) Ecklin and Eric Baumann. Norm served in the Air Force during World War II as a second lieutenant. Norm also received his bachelor's degree in engineering at the University of Illinois and a master's Degree in business at the University of Chicago. He retired from US Steel as a civil engineer after many years. Norm had a huge heart for all pets and many hobbies, such as being a pilot instructor, an avid golfer and woodworker. My sincere condolences to the Pace family on the passing of Norm Pace. I have fond memories of Norm when he worked as the US Steel Project Manager on a Wire Mill Expansion and Reconstruction Project in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia, from 1977 till early 1980. He was well respected, a true gentleman and a pleasure to work for. May he rest in peace!
