I recall being the "first African-American Female" hired by Mr. Peter Dozzi and Mrs. Pearl Lazarus to the company in 1971. I was received as family, until I retired in November - 1987.
I will always remember his sense of humor, when I felt, "the only one aboard."
I was hired as the receptionist.
He was a man of great strength.

Pete, Ted DiLucchio, Ed Bertha, Bob Sharp and I were Penn High School buddies. I moved away from Pittsburgh in 1960 and lost touch. But I attended our 40th, 50th and 60th reunions and got reacquainted and reminisced. Sorry to lose my buddies. My prayers are with Pete and his family. Leonard DiLiberto.

Terry, Domenic & Trina - I am so, so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working for Pete for many years. He was one of the strongest, kindest men I have ever known. I remember the day my husband, Ross, introduced me to Pete. He told me jokes, he picked my brain and made me feel welcome. I will treasure the jokes, the travels and the countless dinners.
