Randy Klick Obituary

Randy L. Klick, 63, of Vandergrift, passed away Monday, Feb. 5, 2024. Born Aug. 16, 1960, in Buffalo, N.Y., he was a son of the late Linda (Steele) Klick. Randy was a 1978 graduate of Kiski Area High School, and worked as an assistant district manager for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission for 35 years, retiring in 2014. He was also the former tax collector in Vandergrift, and worked part-time at the Curran Funeral Homes. Randy was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and member of the Marconi Club in Leechburg and Slovak Club in East Vandergrift. Randy was an excellent cook, having loved to cook for his friends and family, and was co-owner of the former Curanjo's restaurant, in Leechburg. He also loved traveling and spending afternoons floating down the Kiski River. Above all else, Randy loved his family, and especially loved spending time with his daughters and granddaughters. Randy is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Arlene (Gabrielli) Klick; daughters, Deanna (Greg) Stein, of Coraopolis, Shelby (Mike) Schuff, of Gibsonia; granddaughters, Julia and Nina Stein; sister, Tammi (Gary) Lide, of Texas; brother, Jim Klick, of Texas; uncle, Walter (Sue) O'Connor, of Hamburg, N.Y.; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends that will miss him greatly. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, in the BRADY-CURRAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., 429 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift. Parting prayers of transfer will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, 303 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, with Father Alan N.
