Adelaide Marie (Gary) Raymond, 81, of West Jefferson Hills, passed away peacefully in the early morning Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011. Adelaide was one of 10 children born to Harry Alma Gary and Adelaide Marie (Schwedia) Gary, of Newport News, Va. She was the loving sister of Charles (Jackie) Gary, Harryette (Gary) Thomas, Harry (Joan) Gary, Mary Ellen (Gary) Van Zant, Forrest (Peggy) Gary, Gerry Gary, who preceded her in death, Roscoe (Rita) Gary, Warren (Beverly) Gary and Carolyn Gary. Adelaide was the beloved wife for 60 years of Robert Raymond, who preceded her in death. In their life together, they built and owned Century III Dodge of Pleasant Hills. She was a glorious mother to seven children that will miss her dearly, Robert (Debra) Raymond, of South Park, John (Amy) Raymond, of South Park, Terry Ann Raymond, of South Park, Gerry (Elisa) Raymond, of Peters Township, Mark (Deborah) Raymond, of South Park, Gary (Cassie) Raymond, of South Park, and Renee Raymond, of Pleasant Hills. She will leave behind 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren that meant the world to her, Bobby, Mark Chandler, Adelaide M, Colton, Alexis, Gerry, Danielle, Breanna, Marissa, Cassie, Gary, Madison, Christopher, Walker, Logan and Angelina. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel. Entombment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
