Brian Allgaier Obituary

Brian A. Allgaier died suddenly Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014, at the age of 60. Born in Williamsport, he lived for many years with his family in central New Hampshire and Wexford, before most recently relocating to Charleston, S.C. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Jacquelyn; his sons, Kevin and Colin; his brother, Frederick; his sister, Karin; and 10 nieces and nephews. Brian worked as a sales agent in the moving and storage business. He enjoyed traveling with his family, golfing with his friends, and spending time outdoors. His passion was for officiating and coaching baseball and basketball at all levels in the Pittsburgh area. Brian will be most remembered for his larger-than-life personality and friendliness to all. Family and friends are welcome to visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from noon until 1 p.m. Saturday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143. A celebration of life service, led by the Rev. Canon James Shoucair, will be held immediately following visitation at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes contributions to the American Heart Association.
