Charles H. "Pizza Charlie" Purcell, 75, of Trafford, died Saturday, March 24, 2012. Charlie was born Nov. 5, 1936, in Millvale, a son of the late Joseph and Ruth Ramsey Purcell. Charlie was retired from LTV Steel, was an avid Steelers fan and was a 40-year resident of Millvale. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Joseph Purcell. He was the husband of Georgette V. Panno; father of RoseMarie Korman (Scott), Andrea Cummings (Gary) and Jeannie Crankshaw; stepfather of Christine Smith (Scott) and Jeanette Zuzich; the Pap of Tom, Steven, Kelton, Mack, Amanda, Allison and Jocelyn; Pappy Charlie to Ashley, Sara, Carissa, Jacob, Justin, Chloe and Gracie Mae; and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 702 Seventh St. (Route 130), Trafford, 412-372-3111.
