Cleda Weiss

Cleda Baldt Poad Weiss, 88, of Clearwater, Fla., died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, in Palm Garden of Largo Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. She was born in Pittsburgh, graduated from Swissvale High School and Robert Morris College and was an accountant for Armour Plumbing and Heating Co. She moved to Florida in 1976 and resided in Kissimmee and Ocala before going to Clearwater. Cleda is survived by son Martin L. Poad, of Clearwater; sister Betty Klingensmith, of Pittsburgh; granddaughters Margo L. Bystedt, of Dunedin, Fla., and Marci L. Cook, of Clearwater; great-grandsons August and Joseph, and several nieces and nephews. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale, where services will be at 10 a.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a local hospice.
