David W. Long

David W. Long, 62, of Plum Borough, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at his residence. He was the dear son of John W. and the late Harriet Long; beloved husband for 38 years of Kathleen (Eyth) Long; loving father of Rebecca (Robert) McCutcheon and Amanda (fiance, Aaron Howard) Long; grandfather of Colin and Evan McCutcheon; and brother of Daniel (Deborah) Long and the late John Long. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews. David was a member of Murrysville Alliance Church and loved his grandsons dearly. Friends and relatives will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Murrysville Alliance Church, 4130 Old William Penn Highway, Murrysville, PA 15668. Everyone please meet directly at the church.
