Dennis Redding Obituary

Dennis "Pap" Redding, 63, of Scott Township, formerly of Mt. Washington, was called home peacefully surrounded by loved ones Saturday, Sept 18, 2015, after battling an extended illness. Dennis was born in Pittsburgh on Dec. 13, 1951, to Philomena Cafaro and Norman "Bull" Redding. He graduated from St. Justin High School in Mt. Washington. Dennis was a good, kind man who treasured his family and the time he spent with them; he will be deeply missed. Dennis leaves his fond memories to be cherished by his loving and beloved wife, Theresa Paul Redding; much-loved children, Scott Redding and Danielle (T.J) Ault; and cherished grandchildren, Shannon, Carlee Redding, Britney Fitzgerald, Dylan and Patrick Ault. Additionally his brother, James and wife, Lorena Redding, will mourn his passing. There are also many aunts, uncles and cousins along with friends that will miss Dennis. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the BRUSCO-FALVO FUNERAL HOME INC., 214 Virginia Ave., Mt Washington, PA 15211, phone: (412-381-2323). The family invites you to meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in SS Simon and Jude Church, 1607 Greentree Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 for the funeral Mass celebrating Dennis' life. If desired, memorial donations may be made in Dennis' name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. www.bruscofalvo.com.
