Edward Inglot Obituary

Edward Jacob Inglot, 69, of White Oak, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 4, 2007, at his residence. He was born June 19, 1937, in McKeesport to the late William "Bolek" and Catherine Homiak Inglot and was a 1954 graduate of St. Peter High School and a retired millwright for the Westinghouse Air Brake Co. Edward attended St. Mary Czestochowa Parish, McKeesport, and was a member of the 11th Ward Club, Polish National Alliance McKeesport Lodge 352, the National Peanut Pals and the U.S. Polka Association. Over the years, he was an avid antique advertising pursuer, especially for Mr. Peanut, and awoke each morning with a smile and ready to embrace another day. Edward loved to tell stories, reminisce and celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas. His Polish heritage was so very important to him, and he always listened to polka music and was ready to go to a dance. He was such a wonderful friend, had many friends and will be missed greatly. Surviving are his very best friend, buddy and beloved wife, Donna Marie Williams Inglot, with whom he would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary July 29; son, William E. Inglot, of Los Angeles; sister, Kathleen A. Inglot and husband Michael Perkovich, of Murrysville; cousins; nieces, and many friends. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport. A blessing service will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Mary Czestochowa Church with the Rev. Kevin Dominik as celebrant. Entombment will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles. www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com.
