Ida Flynn Obituary

Ida Latizia Anna Maria (Moretti) Flynn died Monday, April 12, 2004. She was born Feb. 12, 1942. Wife and lover of Roger; mother of two proud children, Anthony (Gina Godfrey) and Christopher; daughter of Gino and Anita Moretti; sister of Carla (Howard) Amann, Paula (Perry) Paolantonio, Laura (Barry) McVey, Pat (Dean) King; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews; dear friend to Ann McIver McHoes. Having worked at the University of Pittsburgh for 10 years and Point Park College before that, she ran the undergraduate program in information science. A Mass in celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Rosalia's Church, Greenfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made directly to the Cancer Center at the University of Connecticut Health Center or the Ida M. Flynn Memorial Fund to be used in honor of her career. Memorial fund contributions may be sent to Roger Flynn, c/o the University of Pittsburgh. Arrangements by the T.D. TURNER FUNERAL HOME.
