J. Delia Obituary

J. Diane Delia, 59, of Whitehall, left this place in peace Friday, July 2, 2010, after a long illness. Beautiful wife of John Delia; loving mother of Ronald Lintner and Joseph Delia; beloved daughter of June Galioto and the late Andrew Galioto and Dolores Bergamasco and the late Joseph Bergamasco; grandmother of Christopher and Brittnie Lintner; sister of John, Andy, Tom and Danny Galioto, Robert Bergamasco and the late Linda Hill, and also the absolute best sister and brother-in-law anyone could ever have, Cheryl and James Lyne. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their loving families. She is also survived by her devoted kitty, Minnie, who misses her mommy very much. Diane faced many challenges in her life, but she dealt with all of them with dignity and courage. For that she will always be loved and admired. We can all learn much from her unwavering tenacity. The family also wishes to thank the staff of the TICU at Montefiore Hospital for the care and compassion given to Diane during her stay there. They are truly special people. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, Diane's family requests that donations be made in her name to Animal Friends, Western PA Humane Society, Animal Rescue League or the Pittsburgh Zoo. Diane firmly believed that all animals deserve a chance. We owe them that. www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
