James Wilderman Obituary

James R. Wilderman, 57, of Hampton Township, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at UPMC Passavant. He was born April 6, 1954, in McKeesport, a son of the late Lester Wilderman and Irene Callahan. He was a brick and stone mason at James R. Wilderman Brick and Block Co., where he was owner/operator for 37 years. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was an avid outdoorsman and Eagle Scout. Survivors include three daughters, Regina M. Wilderman (Mike Kain), of South Side, Sarah M. Wilderman (Dave Bartek), of Mt. Washington, and Colleen I. Wilderman, of Hampton Township; one son, Jordan J. Wilderman (Ann Whitman); two sisters, Leslie Hartos (Larry), of Duquesne, and Dr. Jane Payne (Kevin), of Ohio; also many nieces and nephews. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at KYPER FUNERAL HOME, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. at Mt. Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw. Celebration of life by family and friends will follow visitation at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Private interment at the convenience of the family.
