Janice M. Altmiller

1963 - 2016

Janice Marie Altmiller, 52, of Lincoln Borough, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 4, 1963, in McKeesport, and was the daughter of Katherine S. "Kay" Anthony Coulter Resh, of Elizabeth Township, and the late Edwin D. Coulter Sr. Janice was a registered nurse and had worked for Forbes Regional, Jefferson Medical Center and UPMC McKeesport Hospitals. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Heather Anna Altmiller and Katherine "Katie" Anna Polakovic, of Lincoln Borough; her son, John H. (Kira) Altmiller, of Elizabeth Township; brother, Edwin D. Coulter Jr., of Lincoln Borough; sister, Jennifer M. Gault, of Elizabeth Township; grandchildren, Chaellen Rayne and Starrlyn Janice Altmiller; stepmother, Jewell Coulter, and stepfather, Thomas Resh, of Elizabeth Township; nephews, Casey (Kristen) Coulter and Andrew Gault; great-niece, Aralyn Banks; and great-nephew, Jayden Coulter.
Friends are welcome from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016, at the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township, (Drew J. Gilbert, director). Service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jody Dausey, officiating.
