Jerome Chaney Obituary

Jerome A. Chaney, 71, of Robinson died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, in Ohio Valley Hospital. He was born Nov. 6, 1931, in Mobile, Ala., to the late Isiah Chaney and the late Lucille Callier and was business agent for Laborers Union 1058. Beloved husband of Mary L. Chaney. Father of Jeanetta Story, Denise Posey, Marlene Capretti, Myrna Andrews, Renita L. Chaney and Jerome Chaney Jr. Son-in-law of Mary Frances Kowick. Brother of Grace Thomas, Dolores and Levon Chaney, Doris King, Myrtis Matthews, Jacqueline Bishop, Beatrice Edwards and the late Alphonso and Luida Chaney. Also survived by 13 grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the THOMAS P. KUNSAK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3552 California Ave., Brighton Heights. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter Church, the Rev. Benjamin Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Our Redeemer, North Side Catholic Cemetery, Ross.
