Joseph P. Vaccaro

Joseph Peppino Vaccaro, 52, of Ross, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 28, 2006, in Chicago. He was the beloved husband of Melissa (Bagdon) Vaccaro; loving father of Michelle, Felicia, Dante, Nino and Marisa Vaccaro; dear son of Italia (Ritrovato) and the late Saverio Vaccaro; brother of Elvasio Vaccaro (Mary Lou), Italo Vaccaro and Lorena Golias (Jeff); uncle of Gino, Lia, Kaitlin and Mitchell. Mr. Vaccaro was well-liked and respected among everyone he met and had a magnetic personality that drew everyone to him. He started his career at G.E. Siemens and worked at major hospitals in the Pittsburgh area. He started Medallion Health Services, which was the first third party contractor of its kind in the country. He also owned Center Stage Recording Studio. Mr. Vaccaro served as a board member for the Valleybrook Swim Club as well as a Ross Township Democratic committeeman. Mr. Vaccaro loved music and his passion led him to play multiple instruments naturally. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Ross. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Sebastian Church.
