Linda Hangliter Obituary

Linda Lou (Erlanson) Hangliter, 74, of Cranberry Township, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015, while under the care of the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford. Born May 22, 1940, in Ridgway, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Edna Jean (Heckendorn) Erlanson. Linda graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and was a special education teacher. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and golfing. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Lee Hangliter, of Cranberry Township; her three children, Richard S. Hangliter and his wife, Sally, of Seven Fields, Penny L. Wippenbeck and her husband, Thomas, of Butler, and Lesley J. Bruns and her husband, Ned, of Seven Fields; her brother, William J. Erlanson, of Sewickley; her sister, Carla K. Breckenridge, of Naples, Fla.; and her six adored grandchildren. Linda's family will welcome friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2015, at the GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION SERVICES INC., 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. A funeral ceremony will follow at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Norb Levesque officiating.
