Patricia Bernauer Obituary

Patricia (Vaughan) Bernauer, 76, of McCandless, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007. She was the wife of the late Glenn H. Bernauer. She was the loving mother of Patricia E. Rooney and Leslie F. Crispens. Grandmother of Harley Chriest, Bruce Crispens Jr., Vincent Chriest, Alexandra Chriest and Frederick Crispens. Great-grandmother of Baileigh Mooney. Patricia was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Highland, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years and was involved with the Priscilla Guild. She was also a wine maker and worked for Country Wines on Babcock Boulevard and was a member of the American Wine Society. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME INC., 1032 Perry Highway, Ross, 412-364-4444. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Lutheran Church of Highland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 301 Bellevue Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15229.
