Officer Paul J. Sciullo II, 36, of Bloomfield, while serving his community as a Pittsburgh police officer, in the profession he loved, tragically lost his life in the line of duty, alongside two of his fellow officers, Stephen J. Mayhle and Eric Kelly, on Saturday, April 4, 2009. He was the beloved son of Paul "Max" and Julia "Sue" Sciullo; loving brother of Laura and Eric Zahren and Julia Mullen; cherished uncle of David Mullen, Luke, Anna and Mark Zahren; devoted nephew of Herman and Mariann Isaak, Margaret "Peggy" Sciullo, Grace Isaak, Ruth and Mike Close, Ralph Garrison, Linda and Jack DiMartini, Carmella and Rich Zielinski, the late William "Bimbo" Sciullo, Laura Sciullo and Patricia Garrison; beloved friend of Lisa Esposto; also survived by numerous loving cousins. Paul, you are the "Love of our lives" and will be deeply missed. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at WINTER FUNERAL HOME PC, 4730 Friendship Ave. Funeral at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church. Officers Paul, Stephen and Eric will Lay in State beginning at 3 p.m. Wednesdasy in the City County Building. Services at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Petersen Event Center in Oakland. Interment for Paul will immediately follow on Thursday at St. Mary's Cemetery.
