Rita Long-Bossart Obituary

Rita M. Long-Bossart, 85, of Monroeville, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011. She was the wife of Clayton Bossart and the late Richard G. Long; mother of Richard R. Long and his wife, Mary, Audrey Slagle and Thomas Long; grandmother of Scott (Erica), Jeffrey (Nikki) and Brian Long, Sharon (Dan) Bennett, Meghan (Justin) Pogue and Brandon Weisman; also two great-grandchildren; and sister of Edna Mae Neckeraur and the late Arthur, John, William and Kenneth Holt. She is also survived by a very large extended family and known as "Aunt Rita" to all. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the GENE H. CORL INC. FUNERAL CHAPEL AND CREMATION CENTER OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (one block east of Mosside Boulevard-Route 48), a Golden Rule member. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernadette Church with the Rev. Tony Gargotta as celebrant. Interment at Restland Memorial Park.
