Robert Kildow Obituary

Robert E. Kildow, 85, of Lincoln Borough, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at home. He was born Dec. 25, 1921, in Wilson, and was the son of the late Theodore and Grace (Anderson) Kildow. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Clairton Congregation and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a retired chemical annalist for USX- Clairton Works. He is survived by his wife, Doris E. McCormick Kildow; a brother, Andrew Kildow, of Whitehall; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Theodore Kildow, on Feb. 1, 2006; and a sister, Merribelle Newman, on Sept. 10, 2007. A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Sunday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1075 Camp Hollow Road, West Mifflin. Martin Dawson will officiate. Following the service, everyone is welcome from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lincoln Fire Hall. Private burial will be in the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township. Arrangement are by the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township.
