Rose Cowell Obituary

Rose Marie Wallulis Cowell, 89, of Lithia, Fla., formerly of Greenock, died Sunday, May 1, 2016. She was born Dec. 17, 1926, in McKeesport, and was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Maria Popo Antonelli. She was the wife of the late Ben Wallulis and John Cowell. Rose was a member of St. Patrick Church, Christy Park. She is survived by nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Marsha Antonelli, of North Huntingdon. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Geno, Joseph, Guerino "Woody" and Martin Antonelli.
Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 6, at the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township (Drew J. Gilbert-Funeral Director), 412-751-5000. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at the St. Patrick Church with the Rev. Vincent P. Velas officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
