Ruth A. Dusi

1931 - 2016

Ruth A. Dusi, 85, of Lincoln Borough, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016. She was born Jan. 22, 1931, in Elizabeth, and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret Louise Hoffman Rothey. She was the wife of the late George Lucas Dusi Sr., who died Nov. 23, 2006. Ruth was a member of the Elizabeth Fire Company and the Elizabeth Moose Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by sons, William (Shelly) Dusi, of Clairton, George (Nicole) Dusi Jr., of Lincoln Borough, and Charles (Kim) Dusi, of Elizabeth Township; daughter, Peaches (Allen) Boyles, of Elizabeth Township; sisters, Doris Veconivich, of Elizabeth, and Margaret Rothey, of Duquesne; grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Dusi, Brandon (Brittany) Dusi, Kimberly (Kenny) Dryburgh, Shannyn (Billy) Dusi, Lucas Dusi, Reese Dusi and Colton Dusi; great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Alexis Dryburgh and Gavin, Logan, Landon and Gemma Dusi; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Tino Dusi; granddaughter, Bree Dusi; and brothers, Earl, Carl, Bob, Bill, Sam, Harry and Ron Rothey.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township. Services will be held at noon Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Edwin Pope, officiating. Interment will follow at the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
