Stanley J. Majewski

Stanley J. Majewski, 87, of Monroeville, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn (Periak) Majewski for 65 years; loving father of Donna (Clare) Sekowski, of North Huntingdon; dear grandfather of his caring and attentive grandchildren, Beth (Jaison) Klingensmith, of North Huntingdon, Lisa (fiance, Brian Wilson) Sekowski, of Export, and Sarah (Denny) Young, of Hempfield; 0roud great-grandfather of Hanna, Amber and Nathan Klingensmith and Lucy Young; and brother of Bertha (the late Frank) Brozek, the late Albert (surviving spouse, Gertrude) Majewski and the late Rose (surviving spouse, James) Kunkle. Stan was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran who flew more than 30 missions as a gunner in the European Theater. He attained the rank of staff sergeant and was awarded the Air Medal along with four Oak Leaf Clusters. He was a retired foreman from Westinghouse, East Pittsburgh plant. Stan, along with his brother, Al, were the developers and former owners of the Alstan Mall, in Monroeville. Friends are welcome from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at PATRICK T.
