Susan M. Bell, 58, of North Versailles, Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, died at home. She was born April 25, 1955, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late William Clifford and Marea N. (Funk) Bell, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert C. Bell. Susan was a member of Miller United Methodist Church, North Versailles, Order of Eastern Star, Pitcairn Chapter, and was past Worthy Matron of Order of Eastern Star, Wilmerding, and past Mother Advisor of International Order of Rainbow for Girls, East McKeesport. Surviving are sisters, Janet Bell, of North Huntingdon, and Betty (Richard) DeGore, of Florida; nieces, Lisa (Vince) Grudowski, Christa (Robert) Kirk and Sandra Bell; a nephew, John (Shizuka) Bell; also numerous great-nieces and nephews; her longtime companion, Dan "Swede" Swenson, of Port Vue; and her pet dog, Ellie. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the FORGIE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Ray Lyon officiating. The Order of Eastern Star, Corinth Chapter No. 229, will hold services at 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Those wishing may contribute to the American Diabetes Association.
