William R. "Bill" Koryak

William R. "Bill" Koryak, on Thursday, June 27, 2002. Bill served as a staff sergeant with the U.S. Army during World War II and was a retired employee of Westinghouse R&D Center in Churchill. He was a volunteer and coach with the North Braddock Little League for 35 years, and for his efforts with youth baseball, he was inducted into the East Boros Sports Hall of Fame in 1992. Bill was also a cub master with former Pack 43 at St. William Church in East Pittsburgh, and was past president of both the St. William Holy Name Society and the parish's St. Vincent DePaul Society. In 1991, he received the "Spirit of Hometown Award" from the Turtle Creek Valley Mh/Mr. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy L. (Sullivan) Koryak. Father of William Jr. of Las Vegas, Gary of North Braddock, Kevin and his wife Judy of Wilkins Twp., and Craig and his wife Patti of Pine Twp. Grandfather of Alyssa, Tyler, Chelsea, Michael, Christopher, Andrew and Kailee. Brother of John Kvorjak of Swissvale, Albert Kvorjak of Braddock Hills, and the late Ann Payne, Mary Sadvary, Steven and Joseph.
