Nell Lindsey Hatton, 94, of Edgeworth, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 8, 2021. She was born Feb. 15, 1927, in Ft. Stockton, Texas, where she met and married the love of her life, Jo Hatton. Their happy marriage lasted 52 years until his death in 1997. Together forever now, hitting the road, dancing and laughing. She is survived by her four kids, Patty Hefner (Ron), of Wexford, Debby Lord (Mike), of Edinboro, Carol Ruckert, of New Sewickley Township, and Jim Hatton (Claire), of McKinney, Texas, who will miss her always. She was the adored Grammy of 12, Lee Hefner (Sara), Tim Hefner (BethAnn), Travis Hefner, Sarah Phillips (Larry), Emily Phillips (Len), Devyn Lord (Bryan Hanas), Jacob Ruckert (Rochelle Stepp), Lindsey Krehnovi (Adam), Kenny Ruckert (Jenna), Elizabeth Mills (Joshua), Sarah Williams (Lucas) and Joe Hatton (Bethany); also, proud and loving Great Grammy to 18 and one half. Family was everything and she loved playing in the yard with the kids, sharing holidays, hearing about their lives and holding all those precious babies. She loved to read, watch game shows and cheer on the Pirates. She was one of six children born to Charles J. and Ruby Mae Lindsey. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Nila, Lila ("Cooter"), Juanita and Billie Jo, and her brother, Bobby. She loved her many nieces and nephews and all their families and was so happy to have been in Texas for a Lindsey family reunion in August 2019. Arrangements are by the RICHARD D.
