Alberta "Bert" O'Bradovich Nigut, 94, of Saltsburg, (Bell Township), passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, at William Penn Senior Care in Penn Township. She was born Jan. 11, 1921, in Irwin, the daughter of the late Nikola "Nick" and Katherine Moonis O'Bradovich. "Bert" worked for a number of different companies over the years as a machine operator. In the later years she worked for Federal Laboratory, in Tunnelton, Steiners, in Saltsburg, and Clark Metal, in Blairsville. She retired after 12 years of service with Clark Metal in 1989. She collected antiques and oddities and proudly displayed them in her home. She is survived by her brother, Edward "Eddie" Moonis and his wife, Charlene, of Latrobe; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. "Al" Nigut; and two brothers, Rudy O'Bradovich and Rich O'Bradovich.
Family will receive friends from 2 until time of services at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, in the KELLY L. CORRIDONI FUNERAL HOME LTD., 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore. Father Robert Popichak will officiate. Interment will be private.
