Anita Perricelli

1945 - 2022

Anita Biasucci Perricelli, 77, of Murrysville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 11, 1945, in Yukon, daughter of the late Peter Angelo and Mary (DePaul) Biasucci. She was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She worked in medical immunology research at Children's Hospital and served as a role model and mother to her three children. She was an accomplished golfer with three holes-in-one, was an active member of Edgewood and Belfair country clubs and was an avid paddle player. Anita was able to travel the world with her husband and especially loved spending time on her back porch at her home in Belfair, S.C. She was a longtime parishioner of Mother of Sorrows Parish in Murrysville. She was most proud of the accomplishments and activities of her seven grandchildren. Anita is survived by her husband of 54 years, Anthony "Tony" Perricelli; three children, Scott (Susan Gegnas) Perricelli, Dr. Brett (Julie Cagney) Perricelli and Thomas (Cara Perricelli) Zahn; and seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Julia, Christopher, Sophia, Thomas, Olivia and Elizabeth. She is survived by her brother, Peter (Peg) Biasucci; and her sister, Gail (Gerald) Blessing. Parting prayers will be at noon Wednesday at the funeral home, followed by a 12:30 p.m. Funeral Mass at Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville.
