Anne B. Bernstein, 94, formerly of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at her home in Issaquah, Wash. She was born March 10, 1927, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Sol and Gertrude Buckstein. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, David, and her brother, Neal Buckstein. Prior to her retirement, Anne worked for the Hempfield School District as a librarian at Harrold Junior High School. She was a member of Congregation Emanu-El Israel in Greensburg for more than 55 years and was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and obtained an MBA and a master's degree in library science from the University of Pittsburgh. She was an avid photographer and enjoyed traveling around the world. She is survived by her son, Robert and wife, Karen, daughter, Jeri, son, Dan and wife, Karen, nine grandchildren, Jeremy, Amy, Natalie, Emily, Michael, Rachel, Brittany, Tyler and Haley, and two great-grandchildren, Emme and Sophie. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at Abby View Memorial Park, in Brier, Wash. Memorial contributions can be made to Congregation Emanu-El Israel or the charitable organization of your choice.
