Anthony E. "Chub" Pushnik, 83, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Sept. 25, 1938, in Carbon (Hempfield Township), a son of the late Anthony "Tony" and Harriet R. "Dolly" (Fetter) Pushnik. He was a partner at Pushnik Brothers Excavation Contractors of Carbon. Chub enjoyed hunting, traveling to NASCAR races in his 1947 GM motorcoach bus and, more recently, going to car shows. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy G. (Smartnik) Pushnik. He is survived by his brothers, Jerome A. Pushnik and Ronald L. Pushnik and his life partner, Kathy Day, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or services.
